Includes 5 globe inserts, 5 globe water slide decals and 5 magnets
The inserts are 3d printed plastic. You must paint the inserts with white gloss paint. The smoother the top surface is, the better the water slide decals will adhere.
Soak the decal in warm water until it begins to loosen from backing paper.
Wet the surface of the insert then slide the decal off the backing paper onto the insert.
Keep the surface and the decal wet while you smooth out the wrinkles.
This should take approximately 3 min per decal. See instructional video HERE
After the decal has dried over night, Sand the edges as seen in the above instructional video.
You must then clear coat the surface. Use high gloss clear acrylic or UV cure clear resin.
Use super glue to glue the magnet in the bottom of the globe insert. Make sure to double check the polarity of the magnet before gluing.
These globes are specifically made for the resin omni kit. The inserts measure 29mm wide x 9.4mm tall
The globe inserts for the brass omni are shorter and will be available separately.
